I can understand being against the Vietnam war and expressing that belief here in this country. What I can not understand, nor consider patriotic is someone like Jane Fonda, and Bill Clinton, who went to other countries and expressed that belief. The way Jane Fonda was used to mock servicemen who were suffering in prison, showed to me she was gullible beyond belief.

Jane Fonda was used by an evil regime for political purposes which probably cost allot of men their lives. When we left Vietnam I have read reports that upwards of 300,00 people died as a direct result of the regime which took power. As far as I'm concerned the war was ill conceived and poorly executed, but her part was not patriotic to me in any way.

Rush talks allot about waste in the government. As you know by now, I firmly believe this is true to my core. I heard on the news Friday 21 billion dollars was wasted through fraud in our current medicare system. People have become mind numb to what these kind of numbers really mean. So when people like Newt try and reform the system, immediately the lovers of the system, Kennedy and the liberal left, as well as the major media, go on their kill the elderly campaign and silence real debate.

It's intellectually pretty pathetic to me.
