Max,

A play in TALK will require some study. TALK has a HUGE .... and I mean HUGE short interest. So much so that I have to look at this one to see what's happening. I am intrigued because the scenario is very similiar to that of the Amigo pick DHI.

Max, it's difficult to compare the May 25 calls to the May 25 puts on an even scale. Options were initially designed as a hedge instrument to protect an investment. The volume on the call options may be a hedge to cover a short position in the stock. The difference in price,
due to the puts being in the money and the calls out of the money, is one reason for the disparity in vol. between the two options.

Max, I'm still of the mind that TALK is all talk. The day we corresponded about it I got three seperate leads that sounded exactly like yours - "this guy I know heard blah blah blah from this broker that he's known for years", etc. The so-called event even had a specific date - it was supposed to occur on April 10. My guess is the call/put ratio is driven by these rumors, and I do think that in this case the company itself is dangerously close to attempting stock manipulation through their comments about selling out in the 30s and possible "whispers" they're making to people on Wall Street.

I've been wrong before but this one just stinks IMHO. If the rumors could be substantiated by people with real money it would be trading at 28 plus.

I think the current price is a fair reflection of its value and in a bad market it'll drop to 18 or less.
