New information has surfaced that NSCP and LCOS is going to form an alliance. This push comes from H & Q which is the underwriter for both companies. Sources confirm that NSCP and LCOS are meeting with H & Q next week.

Why would any software developer (Netscape) pay 50 times revenues (not
earnings)for a search engine. They could develop their own for a lot less than $1B. Anyone long for this reason will be disappointed in my opinion. I believe all Search Engines will be paying higher prices to be on Netscapes Sight. They have their own traffic, they don't need the search engines traffic.

Just one man's opinion.
