Freeus, you must have not been able to hang around personally with many true born again Christians. They are above all some of the most free spirited humans on Earth. They are the heart of the heartland of this country, and without them we would be wallowing in pure Americanized Marxist Leninism from the near take-over of the 60s, just gaining steam in the 70's and finally fading out in the 80s. It, of course, will return. But freedom? Those who are free in Christ are free, indeed. I believe we are the only free people on earth. I believe this with all my heart. Free from the desire to please men, free from the desire to look to worldly fallen and greed-driven fools for our thoughts and actions, free from the overriding desire for riches, free from the overwhelming assault to the senses of humans on earth through the carnal motivations of those who own and rule the media, and in general, free from everything but a desire to please Jesus Christ, and thereby grow closer to His Father, God Almighty. Of all the things satan, the ultimate control freak and the source of all control freak thought and actions, hates, there is one above all--Jesus Christ. Because those who are IN Christ Jesus are totally and absolutely free from him as east is from west. The LIbertarians, I do believe, will prove themselves to be the dictator in Bananas, with Woody Allen. OF all Woody's thoughts, at least the guy saw through communism. In the end all human leaders are madmen who want their slave subjects to wear their underwear outside their pants, among other things. I.e., a political leader is often made insane by his power. Don't put your trust in them. I believe if Clinton could bring Star before a midnight firing squad, he would. He just can't. These are just thoughts. I think you see us here as rather stupid sheep. Au contraire. That's all I'm saying. I thought this was erasable, as I usually erase most of the stuff I say. But since it's already here, I'll leave it.

Dear freeus : To me spiritual freedom is not the only type or kind of freedom that "matters". My first freedom, and it is given by God is the freedom to reject His love, it is the freedom to sin willfully, it is the freedom to abide by laws that originate from my own point of reference, the freedom to reject the laws of society, the ten commandments, the laws of love found in the new covenant. From a very crucial viewpoint, this freedom is the freedom that matters the most to me. The worst imprisonment that I could possibly suffer would be the robotic role that I would play in a "Star Wars" mentality. The worst possible fate that I could envision for my soul would be to NOT have the freedom of choice to SIN. Forget the possibility of original sin, and the weakness of the flesh. I am talking about, passionate, premeditated, unadulterated, SIN.. This is where all freedom must originate; for it only at that point that mankind realizes that God has trusted us and entrusted us and loved us and created us all as free moral agents, and given us the responsibility and authority to care for His creation that we can begin to serve Him.
