Bloomberg TV reported this morning that the EU is likely to announce a decision this week re WCOM/MCIC merger. They also added that it was likely that the EU would request some changes be made in order for approval. Concerns over internet, long distance market dominance were cited. Story was short, vague and contained no details.

If true, our lovely, snobbish european allies may be setting the table for our own DOJ to ask some divesting of assets.
