My guess is to really test the system you would require at least 30K.You would also have to be willing to risk losing 25K.

It's a far more high risk/high reward environment than you think.

10K is not enuf to open a futures account with. My suggestion is to ask TT what level he would be comfortable with in this environment. It's okay for people who have a high tolerance for risk. You have to be sensitive to swings that could possibly take you out of the food chain.

!0K is not enough money. Regardless of what these people tell you, you must trade the futures with 50, a hundred thousand or more. One mistake will take you out of the game permanently. Don't believe someone who tells you 10K is your ticket to ride.
