WOW, Thanks, Rb for sharing that info. You are right, of course, it is
no one's business but your own thus thanks for sharing it with us. It definetly helps to strengthen my decision to hold on thru this downturn in the price of the stock while the situation develops.
Thanks again, Roger

RB, Thanks for your post. I have truely been wondering ever since reading the S-1. I agree it is none of my business or anyone else for that matter, But I still wondered. Thanks for clearing that for me.

I do trust your opinion, the quantity of shares that you own is a positive reflection on your opinion that this company will excel. If you can stay the course with so much at risk, so can I. Although, I have no where near the $ value you have invested, the little I do have is needed/wanted in the future.

Although I have only actively been reading this board since December, I have notice a drastic change in postings. About a month after I started, it was listed as one of the best boards on SI, the contributors then are the same ones as here now, but the quality has dropped drastically. Many insinuations about dates, events that either do not materialize or don't even pertain to the company have left a bad taste. Questions that are posed that insinuate great things are worthless without answers.

As a Bulletin board stock, there is not much coverage, the message boards are one of the few avenues that we have to learn, and when that is crap then I (people) get concerned.

Even small things like the digital video presentation of the shareholders meeting that was going to be recorded and placed on the Franklin Homepage, was left undone. A phone call on 3 March revealed that it was delayed do to an employee with the flu, they must have never recovered. I know the company is busy with many things on the table, but these small things that the small investor is left to wonder about adds to the concern.

Patience is something that I do have, but knowledge is something that I must have. When that is not forthcoming my peter meter lights up.

Let me close by saying THANKS again for you post and clarification. I have always enjoyed reading your informative opinions, and look forward to them in the future.

V/R
Randy

RB, FTEL is down 35% since the beginning of the year. It closed at $ 4.00 on January 2, 1998 (first day of trading this year). FTEL is now $ 2.62 !

RB, you say that you have more than 80,000 shares as listed on the S-1. Did you have less before you bought back under $ 4.00 !

RB, didn't you recommend selling FTEL not long ago if the quarter was bad? Wasn't it bad?

RB, Cendant (CD) has 810,000,000 shares. We'll see how CD does. You can make me eat my words, or you'll eat yours . We'll let the future prove which was correct for his words, just as I have been doing with FTEL (Intrine sales coming to nought? Demos haven't resulted in a storm of sales? FNET IPO is still just talk?).

<<Franklin is down 18% since the first of the year, so it is tracking this group almost tick for tick......yet people think something is wrong with Franklin......it's not Franklin, it's the Micro-caps in general.>>~ RB

Again, FTEL was not down just 18%. Do your math again and let us know what you come up with. If I am correct, FTEL is way underperforming your market group, tick for tick.

Quote on FTEL on first trading day of year 1998:
01/02/98 283,100 4 1/4 3 7/8 4

Quote on FTEL on last trading day of 1997:
12/26/97 137,800 4 3/16 3 13/16 3 7/8

CD: ~ $ 22.00a (was $ 19.00 when I first bought and recommended)
FTEL: ~ $2.62a (was ~ $ 7.00 when I first posted)

RB, you are too kind. Most don't deserve the information you (and others who work hard for their information -- 'Temp, Ray, da_elk, Seth, Vic, et al) share. Thanks, folks.

RB,

I just read this post. I sent you a PM
just before I started reading the thread
again.

This stock will definitely separate the
men from the boys (Pam, Cindy etc pardon
the expression).

Folks this is tough to watch. But I
am comfortable with it. I'll admit something
I have gone from having a trivial stake to,
well a non-trivial stake <ggg>.

Ante up or fold.
I feel bad for the lurkers on the sidelines.
They don't know if RB, Seth, Vic, Elk etc etc
are real. Maybe they're the same person?
[Like superman? maybe].

Ahhh... I'm sick of ranting and I don't think
I'm adding much of value here.

I'll admit this though - if I'm wrong my wife
is gonna KILL me!

If anyone has any other offers for FNET shares
(or has knowledge thereof) please e-mail me.

Thanks
gary
