>>>BTW if you followed this discussion back, it started with people whining about Datek screwing them around on a consistent basis. Other than Wednesday, when Datek definitely had problems, what has your experience with them been?<<<

If you look back over the last 2 weeks of this thread, you will see that Datek have been screwing up regularly, costing many people thousands in lost profits.

I don't think any of us appreciate being labeled "whiners" by you.

Before you come back with another of your wise ass remarks, let me tell you that yes, I am moving my $200,000 account to another broker; but I still feel a responsibility to warn as many as possible about Datek, since that is what this thread is for; relating our experiences, good and bad.

So if you've got any good experiences, then relate them, but don't try to poke fun at people who've had bad experiences with Datek.

The consensus here is that Datek is unreliable, has bad customer service, is skimming off the top, and won't be around in a year or so.

The only people who can change that is Datek - not you.
