Peter, Dell's chassis design is the envy of the industry and is protected by patents. Their ability to custom configure hardware and custom load software are the envy of the industry. Your claim that DELL is just an assembler of parts is simply wrong.

Peter, Peter, Peter >>all Dell does is assemble parts<< this statement tells us all that your knowledge about Dell is taken from bad magazine articles, and the like. Dell is very much a technical innovator. If you're not aware of Dell's partnerships with MSFT, INTC and other vendors in terms of developing products, you're simply out-of-the-loop. Dell may not "invent" anything, but it is very much an innovator of things. I would ask to you refrain from making these uninformed comments, but then I would not have the opportunity to correct and educate you on this company. I'm not trying to slam you, but uninformed statements, like your's, really tick me off. LoD
