I am not as sure about that as you are. When I get some more time I will dig into and tell you what I find.

Lawsuits aside, I know that this channel stuffing practice is not unique to CPQ and that IBM got hurt by it last quarter as well, but the practice skews the revenue and profit picture and tends to be very misleading to stockholders. I think it also throws the IDC and Dataquest reports off.

Rudedog, you'll lose your beers! If there were no inventory going into the channel since December, how do account for 400Mhz PII showing up at retail? It obviously worked its way through the channel. Now if you mean there was no net increase in channel inventories, I'd agree.
