Jim,
I can't complain about a speculative trait of a company when I'm investing into a $0.40 stock on BB. So that's a quite misplaced motive to criticize IMHO - especially if it comes from people associated with a competitor.

It reminds me of an old story I did myself. LAst fall I was DDing techstocks bigtime and also checked all their ratios and the like. I happened to spot an interesting opportuntiy: DUV lithography. Whereas the masses invested in CYMI at $50+ I invested in its would-be competitor COHR.

However I was at CYMI thread in order to improve my DD. Let me tell, I didn't join the bullish chorus- I dididn't believe it - I would have bouchgt CyMI back than. I was asked and my reply was always: I see that DUV has future potential but I won't invest in a stock with a PE ratio of 60 which has risen 500-600% already. However if I could get it cheaper I could get in. Some shouted: You are short or got put optinions so but I told everyone that I had no position in the company back then. Until someone found out that I was into COHR - many then cried foul - my reply was they never asked if I had a position besides CYMI - in a possible competitor - also, they could be thankful because only few knew back then that CYMI would have its monopoly challenged.

Later then CYMI tanked to $20 and I got into it - way down from $55 many had gotten it for. It tanked further to $14 - I sold it recenlty for $21+ just missing its runup to $29. Anyway I'm not angry - this just taught me a lesson about the naysayers on CSHK thread.

There's the difference .. while I was quite open with my postings about CYMI although I was into a succesful competiro (at least I believed so) , many people on CSHK thread actually bashed the company. Perhaps because they are siding with an UNSUCCESFUL competitor in their view <G>

while I didn't dig it up as You did - remember I'm in Europe so phonecalls to Canada are even more expensive overf here - I surely see some POTENTIAL in CSHK - but that's all I need to see there to justify my investment

best wishes
