Just came back from Best Buy and noticed after I left the store that there was not a single Compaq sub-$1000 computer. The only Compaq pcs that they were selling were the 266MHZ and up. In fact if my memory serves me correct Best Buy didn't have one sub-$1000 from any company.
Anyone else notice this trend?

Compaq had an interesting computer stand in Best Buy. One could configure a Compaq computer (300MHZ and up), like one does on the Dell homepage, and Compaq would ship it to you.

Richers. Re: Cramer. I read recently that Cramer lost "millions" when Cendent tanked. It blew a real torpedo in his portfolio. Thought you'd want to know. Maybe you could send him a sympathy card.:)
