"fyi, the sole remaining brokerage sell is by janney montgomery scott, an east coast regional house. a trial of zacks yields this info "

hmmm Janny Montgomery Scott? I've always been interested in which dork...er analyst had the $-0.07 estimate for Q2. I was told that it was an analyst either from (Janney Montgomery Scott) or (Cowan & Co)

I'd really appreciated if anyone who has access to the info can share it with us. It would really make my day to have name of this specific analyst.

Eric

Phil: I'm not so sure this one analyst can be responsible for all gaps down, but it is quite possible they are holding a short position. Is there any way to find out?

No wonder why Apple has been always gapped down at the opening.

Phil,

Did you notice that Apple opened at 26 3/4 on something around or less than 25,000 shares. The MM's did this.

I strongly believe that the entire amount of shares in the first lot were market sell orders based on fear regarding the expected lower opening of the market in general. The greedy and self-serving MM's took this opportunity to lower the price of Apple where they could pick up a bunch more shares at firesale prices to increase their inventory for the coming explosion. There is no way this stock should have opened that low on such volume without manipulation.

FWIW, this tells me that all of us who hold trading positions (I have both a trading position in options and a long-term core postion in the stock.) must be careful to exit or reverse those positions when there is even a hint of a reversal in the desired direction about to take place. This goes for both the longs and the shorts.

In addition, the MM's simply brought Apple down to touch the intermediate trend line, from which a high volume 1-day reversal occurred. This is extremely bullish and reinforces my belief that we will see the lower to mid-30's around mid-May.

Ladies and gentlemen, fasten your seatbelts. Orbital velocity will shortly be achieved, IMHO.

Sam
