Ric,
It seems to me that an interesting play for WCII to take a position (15%)
in ARTT. I think they have 238 38 MHz licenses covering 157 million
people in 169 markets, 100-500 MHz in 82 of the top 100 US cities,
along with 77 million pops in UK and Scandinavia. Could Winstar be
positioning itself for a takeover so as to increase capacity to its
customers in the United States (ie video conferencing needing
increased bandwith)?
If so, is it not reasonable to purchase ARTT at current prices $14-15,
given Winstar management thinks the shares are worth 17 3/8?
