I have no desire to become CEO of Apple Computer, Inc. as I am having to much fun at Borland.

We had a good day at the H. & Q. Conference. We had about 100 - 150 people in the general session and standing room only at the Q. & A. in a smaller room. I'd say there were between 40 - 50 people there.

Other than spelling my name Del Jocam, all went well. We talked about our "Information Network" strategy and our direction "to the enterprise". (I guess I really don't care how they spell my name as long as more people understand what I am saying and where we are going.)

This was our first "Financial Analyst Conference". We have talked with "industry analyst" and "financial analyst" individually, but not in an open public forum before now. Going forward, you'll see that we will be participating in more venue's around the world.

We now have sorted through the acquisition, combined the companies, added to our "Information Network" strategy(that we unveiled last year at "Borcon" in Nashville) and have aggressively moved up in "enterprise sales" vs. "desktop sales". (See Q1 Earnings Release).

I enjoy reading your comments - as time permits. Whether positive or negative, I learn from you. Thanks for participating in what I obviously believe is a great new company, one that is a 180 degrees from the one I joined almost 18 months ago.
