David, thanks for the clarification. I heard Bob say these things on his show this past weekend. However, reading (or listening) between the lines, I sensed a new level of concern in his voice and comments that is normally not there. I sure had a feeling that he is now looking for an end to this bull market. Maybe I am over reacting to the situation of the past three trading days.

I just checked the S&P futures, and they are UP 1.50. Maybe we will see an upturn tomorrow. However, I think the DOW will see the 5 to 10% correction before this is over with.

Did you by any chance catch his comments on Broadband wireless? I heard him mention it, then my heavily congested internet radio connection went blewwy on me again. Very interested. Did he name any names??

Doug

To All: Here is a rebuttal to concerns about excessive valuations in the SP500 and other indexes. Scroll to the last part of the article entitled "Big Ben Joins Index." It basically says that through shuffling of SP500 companies, stodgy slow-growing companies are being replaced by fast growing companies that deserve higher multiples. These higher multiples in turn raise the overall multiple of the indexes in a justifiable manner.
