Christine, You have a very dim view of the Christianity, the system. Emile has a very dim view of Judeasim, the system. Both of you seem genuinely concerned for others and want to protect them from the perils of these systems. Emile believes that his way is the only way. You believe that almost any way is the way. That's all. Although it is very interesting that you are married to a Christian and he a Jew. How funny! One more piece of irony -if it hasn't been pointed out before, is that your name contains Christ and Christians believe that one's faith is from Grace!! Posted from a friend: As Christine and other make there claims against Christianity. The seem to forget that as Christians...men are still human. With a free will to make decisions. To often when a tragedy happens at the hands of a Christian, we see only that they call themselves a Christian, which in and of itself, does not negate the potential for sin. When we look at Christianity, we need to look a the model the scripture gives. Not at the mankind that chooses to call themselves Christians. Although ideally a Christian should make choices to best represent the model that is laid before us in the Bible. Unfortunately all men have a sin nature. A nature that does not go away when acceptance of scripture comes into their lives. This is well illustrated in the book of Romans chapter 8:1-17. Of course to understand this........there needs to be some acceptance of the scripture. Which Christine would certainly take aim against. My point is this......a mans actions will reflect where his heart is. Lip service to claiming to be a Christian is just that ........lip service. -Neenny
