Alberta Securities Commission - Information Bulletin Vantage Securities Inc. The Alberta Securities Commission today issued a temporary order suspending the registration of Vantage Securities Inc. (''Vantage'') a securities dealer registered under the Securities Act and operating in British Columbia and Alberta. This temporary order follows recent steps taken by the British Columbia Securities Commission to temporarily suspend Vantage's registration pending a hearing into allegations that Vantage has continuously failed to meet capitalization requirements. Vantage is also currently subject to a receivership order issued out of the Supreme Court of British Columbia. The Alberta Securities Commission will be conducting a hearing on Thursday, May 14, 1998, to consider whether the temporary order should be extended or whether the Respondent's registration should be cancelled or otherwise restricted.

Hi Jerry, I have done my due diligence and have come to the conclusion that Vantage is not a bad buy here at these levels considering the relatively tight structure of the company and managements past promotional track record. You mentioned Colossal. I talked to some old shareholders who got in between $.60 and $1.50 and did very well. I guess with a spec stock one should always try and get in near the beginning of a promotional cycle. Vantage seems to have recovered from its lows and is gaining strength on positive news. Most resource stocks got destroyed this past year thanks to BRE-X. Vantage and Colossal were no exceptions. They just fell from loftier hights. best wishes purething
