Is there any hard news that has not been posted yet?

None that I know of.


I find it astonishing that Charles La Bella, the chief investigator for the Justice department's campaign finance probe, resigned to go back to San Deigo. He was enlisted to "get the probe back on track" and did get guilty pleas and indictments. Before his arrival, all reports indicated the probe was more like a cover-up.

I have not seen this mentioned on television or the "mainstream" press. Where is the outcry like when Ken Starr resigned to go to Pepperdine?

Jack, the fact that all those credit card records have been subpoeanaed is somewhat encouraging, isn't it? I know that several months ago there was an allegation about $10,000 going to pay off one of Monica's credit cards, but I don't know what the facts are.

Speaking of news, however, have you heard this yet? The gene that indicates susceptibility to tobacco-caused lung cancers has been isolated in mice:
