David, now I feel like an idiot!! I posted my wonderful news about Lufenuron before I went back and read all the recent posts here. While Newsweek certainly seems to be excited about it, your study seems to believe it is not the most effective treatment. What is a suspension, however? The Lufenuron in the article was injected. Isn't a suspension an oral dose? Perhaps not in felines, however.

Perhaps Lufenuron would work better on indoor cats, who are not constantly being exposed to new fleas because they do not go outside. I wonder if a several monthly doses of Advantage would make it work better in the time before it takes complete hold.

I still believe there is quite a bit of environmental damage from nuclear power plants. I am particularly remembering tallies of dead fish and polluted water around some European ones that I read last year. I will have to do some digging and see if I can find them again for you.
