That is the definition of a monopoly stifling competition!

No it isn't. That's the definition of a company improving its product, which it has every right to do. It in no way limits or prevents any other company's ability to do business.

In the past several years, MS has integrated the following into their OS:

- TCP/IP stack
- Dial-up networking
- File management
- Disk backup / management
- Network administration
- Messaging services
- Browser

Now, in your opinion, why is the browser any different than any other of these pieces? Or is it at all?
