Mainframes will be around for a long, long time. It's
not a question of processing power. It is a question
of security, centralized control, and batch transaction
processing.

One other thing . . . NT is not certified safe
for mission critical applications. I don't know
if this will change with NT 5.0, and I don't even
know if I can trust any claim to the same.
