The playstation games are slow and gritty. The 3dfx card is cheaper than a
PSX if you already have a PC. Pc games are cheaper. Pc games have add-ons
and editors. Pc games are bigger and deeper. There are more games are on the
pc. With the Pc, you have a choice of how you want to control the games. PC
has better sound. 3dfx graphics are kick-ass - colout mist, coloured
lighting. 3dfx games have a sort of reputation of being kind of um, billions
of times better than the best PSX game.

yes, i have a 3dfx pc, a psx and a n64 and out of all of them the psx is the
only one collecting dust.

Sure, P.C.'s are expensive and need upgrading every year or so to keep up
with the latest games but at least it's not just a ZX Spectrum with a pretty
case on.
Can't access 'Net with a PSX either. Which might be a good point depending
on your POV (my poor phone bill, comes printed in a hardback binding).

Umm, because the Playstation won't run Battlezone, Myth,
Diablo, Total Annihilation, Starcraft, Quake II, etc.
etc. etc.

Well for one thing a Playstation looks absolutely dog rough against a 3dfx
card.

Well here is my two cents.
PSX are for gamers who don't want to hassel with hardware. They are more
willing to settle for what they can get. Usually PSX people have less money to
spend or unwilling to spend for fear of something comming out thats better and
cheaper for tommorow.
PC games are for more advanced people who know what they want. PC games go a
longer ways then PSX. They have editors to make newer levels on some games. I
prefer PC games and some day I will preffer them more when I finnaly get a
vodoo or vodoo2 card.

i LOVE 3dfx but i still own a PSX. Why?
Tekken 3
NFL Gameday 98
thats two pretty good reasons.
How about Namco porting their stuff over to PC?
or maybe someone in the PC software industry will actually stand up and
make a Good football game.

Forbes Article on TDFX available Tomorrow

Link to that site in the next 12-24 hours.
They won't write anything there that we
don't already know, and this article will
attract few new investors. All that matters
for now is the Banchee release, it's Delivary
date, how it's reviewed, and if any major
box maker like Gateway will feature it.
