Anthony,

Thanks for your response. My concern is a general concern about MM's (or anyone) shorting a stock that I am LONG on. I don't want to short BB stocks but I don't want to suffer from that.

I have read the reference on Affirmative Determination. I enjoyed it thoroughly. My question from that article is what is "bona fide market making"? Do you know of an interpretation on that issue.

Finally, many people think that a good way to limit that amount of stock available for shorting is to personally hold the certificates. There are some people who have said that stocks can be loaned from either a cash or margin account. Do you have an opinion? If so, please document your opinion.

Thanks. The documentation is meant to try to keep the question from going round and round and round.

Thanks and later, leroyt
