Morning Sig,..Re<<Cash on the Sidelines & Other Remarks>>

Hi Sig,
When reading over the remarks last night, I was wondering about the comment about there being no more cash on the sidelines.

this could get UGLY when people start realizing there's not any cash on the sidelines.

Wonder how the MF inflows increased so much last month? Maybe it all came out of the bond funds I didn't check the balances.

I've also never used margin as defined by LT. However, in the futures account, when selling options, they hold back what they call margin until the position is closed, but it is money that is already in the account, not borrowed money.

Finally, I'm not sure what the cash level of MF has to do with the market tanking. Maybe the fund managers find that the opportunity costs of not having the money invested is higher than the risks of being fully invested.

Or just maybe all those arguments are way over my head.<gg>

Best,

Lee
