The name change and direction change will derail this puppy for months. I have voted with my wallet.

If Del can fix the problems, there may be a time in future where this stupid shock tactic stuff is not necessary. For now I will take my risks elsewhere.

My gut feel is that a huge set of mistakes was foisted on us here today.

Dongyan:

This is a carefully orchestrated Inprise Blitzkrieg from Maestro/Poker-Face Jocam.

Why push all your cards at once.

JBuilder 2 is still slated for June I think.

So we will see it in a few weeks or days.

We'll punish 'em with our 57 straight days of consecutive announcements and dazzle 'em with 57,000 instances of our new moniker.

----

And seeing the whites of their eyeballs we'll now soon be engaging on our 6-7% sequential q to q growth to reach 500 million in revenues in 4 years time.

Egads! And people were hoping for no more acquistions... well to reach the promised land of 500 million Presidents (still a meagre 1% of Bill Gates' net worth of around 50 BILLION) - two things must happen - kick butt internal growth and yes Virginia more acquisitions - Del must make it clear that this is an essential part of the goal. He did with the H&Q conference and it must be reiterated over and over and over and over again.

I guess a third thing must also happen - proof that the acquisitions can be well integrated. Seems to be doing well so far (2 months in) with VSGN. Let's hope the winning trend (of 1) continues with the next 5 acquisitions...

---

Ah! Think about it - yet another reason to own INPR - an acquisitions minded company a new HFS is born! - Integrating services companies here we go... Praise the Almighty Bill Gates!!! (only hoping a post Cendant accounting error is not uncovered. Del baby hire some good accountants and auditors - I would hate to see some shady book-keeping down the road).

---

Damn it we have it all - Internet based company, HFS, group sex - kind of like an Amazon.com mixed up with a CMGI all with a bit of the internet's leading business play (the sex thing) all wrapped up in one great new company. Folks, today a star is born and from this day forward we shall call this star:

I N P R

(the minions thence erupt in ear-deafening prolonged applause - Inprise, Inprise, Inprise, Inprise - after a few minutes of this, 57 hundred are taken to the hospital to be treated for vocal cord damage for repeating a few too many times the harshly grating new name...)

---

Bill Gates baby with the fancy schmanzy house that talks with computers that will soon be capable of reproductive prowess eat your heart out...

ay Caramba, move aside you little puny MSFT:

INPR RULES...
WE ex-BORL shareholders RULE THE WORLD
ON TOP OF THE WORLD baby
ON TOP OF THE WORLD
