Here is the list:

stockmania.com

I have most of the prospectuses or pospecti or whatever it is. Anyway, some are loaded, some are no load. I haven't shown that on the list. You can get it by clicking the symbol of the fund and then chosing the Morningstar link.

I just bought some of the Barr Rosenberg Market Neutral fund and it was no load. It was up on the last few down days and down today. Supposedly, they have a computer model that picks undervalued longs and overvalued shorts and then invests equally in each. It theoretically removes most of the market risk since the shorts go up on down days and the longs go down. The opposite happens on up days. Hopefully, their stock picking will help achieve a good return. They are trying to get a return a few points above Treasury bills. Its a new fund so we will have to wait and see, but I think they have been doing this kind of thing for institutional accounts for a while.

There a lot of new "shorting" funds that have come out recently and are coming out soon. Changes in the 1997 tax laws made it easier for some reason. I need to research the details of that a little more.

Thanks,
WS
