Yeah, that last minute selloff is worth an investigation.

With regard to SCOP window - from what I can tell, Tom got on his plane with Ori and they went to practically every account, and did whatever it took to close business. I think that VNTV may have been slightly surprised by that. I do think that this quarter (#2) is where the VNTV window is the biggest.

I am not so concerned about the license growth - my point in an earlier post was that the ratio between services and licenses only changed four percentage points. Let's assume services are relatively inflexible. So, if you wanted to keep that ratio constant, it would have required posting around another $2 MM in revenue - which was maybe something they didn't want to do, and also, would have sent EPS up another 4 cents - too high.

So, we rely upon the CFO's statement - we hit all goals. It would be good to ask "what are those goals" for next quarter, so we have them clearly in advance.

Dave - I'm the first guy to understand the impact of license growth on longterm company growth. It just didn't change all that much, and is completely consistent with other companies in the industry.

I would like to hear more about specific wins and some guidance for the year.

BTW, since I am not an analyst or money manager, I can see the world through whatever glasses I feel like on a given day - and have fun with it. You have a position of responsibility with OPM (other people's money), so I thoroughly understand your situation.
