technological breakthroughs and the future marketplace growth potential of Asynchronous
Transfer Mode (ATM) and broadband technologies during ATM Year 98, the world's largest
conference and exhibition for ATM industry professionals and end-users. The theme for the event,
which runs from June 1-5 at the San Jose Convention Center, is ''Where Technology and
Education Come Together.''
Author and industry visionary Geoffrey A. Moore, founder and chairman of The Chasm Group,
will present a status report on the development of the ATM market and its rapid expansion into
the mainstream market. Successful entrepreneur, innovator and industry leader Dr. Terence H.
Matthews, founder and chairman of Newbridge Networks Corporation [NYSE:NN - news] and
