The 28 3/4 support was tested 3 times in heavy vol.(1,907,300) and held up pretty well. CHKPF was similarly tested at $29 1/2 in late 1/98 w/ similarly heavy vol.(2MM shares) and held up. The only difference is the former support is further below the 200 dma than the later. Any TA can offer the stock movement in the next few weeks ? I've seen ORCL broke way down below bothe 200 and 50 dma only to reverse the trend when the CEO came out and talked up the stock. The CEO being silent this qtr didn't help the stock. Only when she speaks up, the stock can move back up to a level it dserves.
