<< bald men from mars,

hahahahaha! Are you short Mr. Softee?

I hold MSFT in my account, but sincerely wish that this puppy
drops a bit or at least don't go up too much in the next month. I
will come back to you after I am done with my long positions in
DELL and IDTC.

good luck,>>

I don't think a 10% (from 90 to 80) is big enough a downturn
to short (only 10%), but I am waiting for it to get to $80
to load up ...
It will be a 25% gain if it gets back to its 52 week high of
about $100 ...

MSFT has embedded Web TV SW in Win98. As part of its licensing arrangements for Windows 98, Microsoft is said to be planning to offer PC makers discounts on the software if they agree to install circuitry into the computers that would enable them to receive television signals. Web TV is a Microsoft-owned service that enables people watching television to also surf the Web. This chilling fact is often lost in less sophisticated investors. The DOJ and states want to make a stance on both IE and Web TV issues as MSFT leverages its strength in several areas to acquire dominance in other adjacent areas. Now the relevant question is what is the likelihood of Win 98 being stripped off of Web TV Sw and IE ? If that is the case what would be the rev. impact ? and most importantly will MSFT stock be depressed further and what is the next several support levels ? Care to offer insights, Anyone ?
