Freus,
It is my understanding if you put a stop order at 110 and tthe market goes dowm, your trade would be at 110. No higher or lower. If the stock is at 120 you would NOT want to put a sell order for 110 because the trade would be sold the very moment you put the order to sell. You would put your order to sell Higher then the $120 and unless you cancel the order, or change it, when it reaches the price you entered, you would generate a sell.
