I see some shorts are trying to talk down the earnings, but the results are good news to IFMX investors...

i disagree. ifmx needs more than anything is to establish their credibility as a company. remember, mr. ellison saying they were dead. the list of new customers, including lucent, would indicate mr. ellison was wrong.

i was not looking for a blowout q. as much of their market has been waiting for them to demonstrate for several q's in a row that they are stable and can service their needs going forward.

the balance sheet looks good, they are viable, they are getting key technology wins and, i almost forgot, they made money and beat the consensus by 7 cents. this will not spark a big rally, imo, but should provide fuel for steady progress. depending on the conf. call, there might be some upgrades.

ps. if mr. graham is selling covered calls, he is, in effect, selling short. a stock price rise will cost him his stock at a bargain rate; a stock price drop will allow him to replace that stock at a profit.

Nope... Zacks had -.04 and first call had -.04

Even if you call it one penny of profit it beats street by five cents.
