Just a nit - I thought the Moving Pictures Experts Group (ISO)
invented MPEG? (Of which Sarnoff is one of many members...)

Also, to answer my own question previously - the $6m in new
realtime business wins mentioned in the release is 85% *future*
revenue (and thusly hasn't been reported yet).

A further interesting tidbit to come out of the call is the
company has invested 8-10 cents of what would have been
bottom-line earnings into VOD over the past three quarters.
In other words, earnings for the current [mostly realtime]
business have actually been 16-18 cents for the past nine
months. (At a stock price of 4 that is a current P/E of
17-19, without VOD.) With a $15 billion market ripe for
the picking it seems clear that VOD is the growth avenue,
but it is nice the company has this profitable foundation
to work from (unlike some red-ink-bleeding others).

I recommend everyone tune in to the call - we had a lot of our
questions answered. 1-888-566-0574, code 98765
