thanks eric. Unfortunately, I am going to make one more post regarding this and then it's dropped.
My email box is deluged with all kinds of mail from people telling me how horrible I am, etc. Oddly enough, one of the email messages is personally from Colin Crawford, CEO of MacWorld telling me that I've done something illegal and that I need to mail him the issue! He asked that the details of the email be kept confidential, so I won't reprint it (to be nice) but suffice it to say it wasn't nice. He gave me his direct phone number. I just got off the phone with him furious.

I have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG. The issue was purchased legitmately and legally, where other copies are to be found. I didn't want to be asked how I got the issue because I knew people would be asking when and where, etc. I can see how the "don't ask how" was misinterpreted but I just didn't want a bunch of questions on when, how, etc. The important thing was that the mystery was discovered, and wow! it's about the new Powerbooks! I clearly told Colin in no uncertain terms that any legal issues he has are with the Printers or whomever was supposed to keep the issue from going to press in NY. He should be sending nasty emails to the printer plants, the newstands, whoever, but NOT a normal reader who frequents the internet. If they don't want readers talking about their issues then they shouldn't put it in print. To be fair, he listened to me yell at him for quite awhile and totally apologized. He was really quite a gentleman and sincerely felt bad for the email. I was very impressed with how he apologized, etc. I really felt like the little guy was being sat on by the big bully!

For the record, I got the issue at a certain newstand which had multiple copies. I purchased it like anyone else (legally) and shared its contents with others (legally).

That's it! So whomever else is sending me emails please stop. I did nothing wrong. Yes I might've annoyed some people, but that doesn't mean I am terrible or did anything illegal.

Thanks! Back to aapl investing!
