Once more with feeling:

As Scott explained it, the Hanifen-Imhof analyst lowered earnings 'expectations', but did not change the earnings estimate of .04. Also, as Scott explained it to me, First Call & presumably Zacks as well, will maintain the .04 estimate and simply add the lowered expectations as a comment line.
What does this mean? Not much for this quarter. I'm still concerned about NMS, but have a tremendous degree of 'long' confidence in TAVA.
This is a stock you either believe in or you don't. If you believe, hang on for potential gains into the 30's and possibly above within the year. If you're a non-believer?...I think most of them have left by now. One thing is for certain, don't agonize over every second by second trade.

David,
I'm still getting mixed signals as far as Hanifen report. You're right- has it changed and is it public?
Bottom line to me is:
Will Ccall potentially negate a less than stellar earnings report?
Y2k stocks seemingly are not in vogue currently. CMND was hammered with relatively good earnings and a piss-poor Ccall. I, for one, own some CMND.
TAVA seems to be a different bird. Earnings may not be positive, but w/the ramp-up -justifiable expenses-and with a huge backlog and the ever- present STORY/POTENTIAL advertisement; TAVA could and should be a player in '98. Do you sell into earnings? I don't know the answer.
We'll know who has the brass balls soon enough!
Good luck all longs,
Brice
