I have had sunw since early '96. I am now trying to decide to sell or continue to hold. As far as buying now well.... Look carefully at the long term chart. The stock has gone nowhere since the middle of '96. Nowhere in the sense that compared to the other hardware stocks: IBM, CPQ, Dell, Gateway.... this stock has under performed the others. To verify this check out the earnings for the last three years. Then look over the annual reports. There you will find hubris. A lot of talk about how sunw is going to screw MSFT, but relatively little about how they will improve the financial performance of the company. So why don't I sell? Well I may be wrong. Gene
