In June of 1996 a reporter picked up on the concept in its infancy.

At the December 1996 meeting of shareholders all they had to show was a large "concept unit", the client portion of which resided in a 19" rack-mount Roadrunner Mux-sized chassis.

It was early 1997 when the first "actual-sized" beta was revealed and if I recall
a lot of code & other refinements were still in process.

This is very easy to verify so what's the big deal?
