Mike, I am just learning about Managed Futures Accounts. I attended a conference of futures managers back in the 1980s and I was underwhelmed at the time. They seemed to be a brown shoe with tuxedo crowd. <G> They also tended to be trend followers and technicians while I am a fundamentalist/contrarian. They were all moaning and groaning because the markets weren't trending. IMHO, it is their job to manage so that they make money in a neutral trend market. But those guys are probably mostly gone by now, so the new crowd may be different. I do know that they had infinitely less restrictions than a mutual fund manager and I envied them that. MB
