CHKPF appears at H&Q technology Conf. To learn which companies are in and which are out, pay attention to the pecking order set up by the host institution. Every company wants to present in the ballroom, but it's usually reserved for companies with whom the broker/investment banker does the most underwriting, ones from whom it hopes to get future underwriting business, or ones which it wishes to "appease" for some reason. As a measure of their importance this year, almost all the hot Internet stocks are presenting at prime times on the first day of the H&Q conference -- companies like Check Point Software Technologies (CHKPF), @Home Network (ATHM), CMG Information (CMGI) and N2k Inc. (NTKI). BTW, Can anyone synopsize CHKPF presentation ? investor.msn.com
