Mauro,

>If today's sell off was too big, maybe we'll get a good bounce Monday

A good bounce would be nice, but the key is to focus squarely on the fundamentals here. Most of the market has some pretty lofty valuations. Adaptec is *at worst* reasonably valued.

We'll see. I am willing to wait a year for my Mercedes :-)

Cheers, Torben

My question regards Adaptec's future competitive
advantage.

In SCSI, it was the market force and had patents
and such.

In the future, what will prevent it from becoming
a commodity player of next-generation products.
And what will prevent the DD's and other peripherals
from incorporating a commodity tech into their
own devices?
