COMMAND are NO TURKEYs
Allen, I had the same feeling as you earlier
about management being slack (as I heard in the
tone of their business call)...(see my earlier
comments on this).
Well I was wrong. Caputo has had 1-home run already under
his belt sold the previous company he started (computer tech
service, 70+ employees) to Price-Waterhouse for xx million$ in 1985.

They seem strong on "tech" and (marketing in the insurance/
finance arena) and less on internal financial mgt
The management team overall is at least a B (A is for
Craig/Andy - Intel) and they have good contacts in the
insurance/banking area.
Their mgt in India is o.k... not leaders like Sanan, and
Desai - but o.k

Cowen Volpe and wally who? (Eric you still there??)
well Cowen ranked 12th and Volpe 19th among underwriter
bring tech companies to market.
Volpe's motto: NO dinosaurs: they do not like anything
that is slow moving. their latest recco - buy THINK NEW IDEAS
(and I thought I took risks!! :-0 )
Cowen is more institutional than Volpe...

Volpe analyst covering CMND: Chris Paul & David Gremmels
Cowen: don't even have CMND in their research folder
Hugh SH*T le (beg your pardon) covers MAST ....
:-( don't ask me why he was there...

so I have sent e-mails to:
Peter Rogers: Mg Dir Volpe Tech Research :
progers@vbwco.com
Elise Stern Foley: Mg Dir Corp & Venture Corp Svcs
stern@vbwco.com
requesting an update on CMND since their folders still
show old stuff. I don't expect a response... so if there
are any biggies here on SI maybe you would join.

Well for those of you who read this till here:
"KEEP THE FAITH" :-) better and less heart plunging
days ahead.
