ola amigo, I second your sincere thanks for the kind words and most importantly, everyone's participation. I am extremely proud of the fact that we have had no "flaming or bickering". When ever we have come close the person has just been ignored as they should be.

Many people have contributed to this thread. It is sincerely a group effort that all should be proud of and thanked. Not just the amigo's

Cary

AMIGOFOLIO PERFORMANCE...... 3 1/2 months from inception.

In looking back we have had a very successful quarter. Some trades were very profitable for us. We were successful in our timing of getting out of stocks, but not always correct. A few trades that we could have done better on, WAVO, CHSE and PTEN . We could have had additional increases in those of 43%, 20% and 38% respectively. OOPS!!!!!!!! A look at the following results is a testament to our trading philosophy

From 1/18/98 to 5/1/98, The Amigo's opened and closed 19 positions. Of those 19, 15 were sold for profits ranging from 1% to 102%. The four losers cost us between 6% and 15%. The Amigo's batting average for profitable picks is a whopping 78.9%.

Closed positions averaged 19% gain and 12 calendar days per trade.

A quick look at the 15 profitable trades:
* 4 big gains, ranging from 48% to 102% with an average hold of 3 weeks
* 5 returned 10% to 17% with an average hold of 1 week (2 daytrades at 16% each).
* 3 returned 6% to 8% with an average hold of a little under 5 days.
* 3 returned 1% to 3% with an average hold of 3 weeks

The current open portfolio has 13 stocks. 8 are profitable with gains
ranging up to 49%. The other 4 are in the red between 7% to 16%.

We are very excited with short term and or long term possibilities on the stocks that we are currently holding. Based on their current fundamentals, we are looking for all of the stocks to gain at least 30% within the next year. Several such as ORBT, DWYR, ATPX, DHI and APCO could gain at least 50% while ANTX, IMPX,STVI,EATS,AIRM and PURW could gain over 100%.

We are looking forward to another successful quarter

The amigo's,

Sergio, Mike and Cary
