Good Morning Zeuspaul & Thread,

Was searching for anywhere on SI where I could find some help with an installation problem with a child's CD-Rom game, when I happily discovered this pc knowledge-filled forum.

If anyone has any ideas or info that could help me solve the following problem, I'd be most grateful.

I've just installed the "Kristi Yamaguchi Ice Skating" CD-rom game for my 7 yr old niece. Upon completion of instructions in the Users Manual I rebooted(as directed) and attempted to startup the program.
What appears each time I try clicking on the icon or Start method is a box saying "Requires 16 bit color depth. 640 X 48 screen resolution is recommended. Reset your computer configuration and then restart the game."

Yet in the users manual immediately following the installation instructions there is a NOTE:" Kristi Yamagucchi Ice Skating recommends but does not require a 640 X 480 screen resolution."

Question: Is there a way I can bypass this box in order to startup the game??

TIA for any help.

Ann
