Jay,

- I see little visibility for UltraSCSI (e.g., shop DELL)

Dell has UltraSCSI, but they push it only for their servers and workstations. For the home market, they go with the cheapest; i.e., UDMA. But I am pretty sure UDMA has been pushed as far as it will go and we should see some changes soon. Also, servers don't do too well on UDMA; they need a richer diet to perform.

- ho-hum digital video ... same story was told for audio

Audio is not an area where I think Adaptec will ever do anything. Nor should they. But I am hoping to see some DVD stuff.....

Cheers, Torben

P.S. Adaptec has also started selling adapters on-line. I would be interested in knowing how well that is going.
