roger and Jay,

A joke from Warren Buffett, partially paraphrased because I'm bad with jokes.

An Oil Man comes to St. Peter at the pearly gates. St. Peter says, "Your qualified to enter heaven, but the compound we have reserved for Oil Men is full." The Oil Man responds, "Well can I say just 4 words to the present occupants?" St. Peter, thinking no harm can come of it agrees. The Oil Man says, "Oil discovered in Hell." At which time, the compound opens, and the current occupants scramble out heading for the neather regions. St. Peter, thoroughly impressed by the Oil Man asks him if want the entire compound to himself. The Oil Man says, "No, I think I'll just go with the other boys, ya never can tell if the rumor might be true."

This, I feel is what Triant was trying to say, and I take her at her word. She cannot respond to stock price fluctiations directly, to do so would be to admit that you are at the whim of analysts and speculators, which, in the long run always gets you in trouble by having to short a view of things. So I feel her comments were appropriate.

Another Tenant by Warren Buffett, "Buy at attractive prices." Granted the secular growth was down, I told you guys about this after previous qtr. This is also reflective of the conference call outlining that the, "Deals are becoming more complex."

This is a classic buy opportunity.

It won't go lower to earlier support because this would be giving the company away.

Other than AMD, I purchased about 500 CD on the accounting irregularity scare, which, based on CEO letter to shareholders is very limited. He is in the, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." He knows that if he makes comments like, "We will meet or EXCEED concensus estimates," that he'd better deliver. I'm betting short term that he will by a wide margin.

I'll be rolling these anticipated profits into CHKPF big time on Weds, if its not too late, because I'm anticipating a big recovery this week.

Good luck.
