My computer does run on Windows 95(is that what your ps referred to?)

I will follow your suggestions. Thought it might be better to first post this part of the installation instructions for your consideration: "After game components are installed, you will be asked to install the latest version of DirectX. It is highly recommended that you choose YES at any of the on screen prompts(even if it recommends you choose NO)."

Naturally, I chose YES for each prompt, then this appeared: Set up has found a newer version of this driver. If you experience problems after installing new driver, you can restore original driver by running Add/Remove Programs and selecting DirectX Drivers.

Setup will install the software to the directory listed in the box below:
c:\kristi

Would this involve the color depth & screen resolution problem, or not?
