Mang,
I had the same problem with Compaq. What I eventually did was call Compaq corporation, I got the 800 number from 800 information. I reached the front desk and explained to the receptionist my problem she told me they need to hear more of that and tech support doesn't want anyone to call the company to tell them what a lousy job they do. She connected me through to an account executive, he had a private phone number and everything. It still took quite a while to get it resolved but they didn't give me the song and dance anymore. (thats a microsoft issue or when you installed a Zip you must have did something wrong to cause this.) I suggest you call compaq directly in the future and do an end around on tech support, you'll be glad you did.
