I thought DPMI was doing the cap. ex that was addressing precisely those concerns? Just guessing: I think we have a bit of time to go before large scale full volume production at 0.18. Dumb question: LSI says 0.18 but really this is 0.18 effective. Therefore when you say no support for 0.18 is this effective gate lengths or true gate lengths. In the former situation LSI is schrewed, in the latter LSI is not. However I'll guess here - masks are based on effective gate-lengths? In which case, LSI is schcrewed.

I'm guessing that LSI is targeting Q4 for 0.18 effective - so I hope your DPMI guys better get their act together :-) We have had those EDA people confused for awhile (and maybe still), then we had potential DUV problems (now pushed out), now masks (yikes). The dangers of being leading edge...
