Bobby; The volume did not stop their it continued day after day. The dates before the volume was 71,000, 0, 65,000, 258,000, 52,000,19,000,58,000 ect....... Also on 2/11/98 it was confirmed by reuters that mine was not involved; It also was confirmed by CIMA the night before; To: CIMA (796 ) From: CIMA Wednesday, Feb 11 1998 8:29PM ET Reply # of 2133 Confirmed the story but I think we're okay despite the tragedy. The name of the mine was Mocotoro. The next day mine traded 3,319,000 and everything on that day pointed out that MINE was not effected. Than on 2/13/98 the volume increase even more 5,333,200. Then on 2/27/98 the stock showed high volume and regressed to .05 again but the mud slide was old news, was it not. 2/27/98 .050 .070 .070 .050 2,082,000 I had asked for the transfer Agents info on a number of occasions on the IKAR vs MINE thread and never received a direct answer; Since I presently am not a shareholder I would advise any shareholder of MINE to call MINE'S transfer Agent and post their findings on this thread. The stock is sitting at a mere .14 but at the same time there are a total of approx. 89 Million shares issued. How large is the float, what percentage do insiders hold, and have they issued more shares. These are legit questions and if the ones who like this stock wish to shed some positive on this stock please inform us of positive answers to these questions. In the best case scenario I see this stock popping to .30-35 after the news and then sliding back fairly fast to .10-.20 levels. But at the same time after the release do not be surprised if the stock does not move up much. As far as the hype of this one going to 2, 5, 10 ,20 dollars a share to me that is ridiculous but of course thats my opinion, all one has to do is use common sense.
